Elaelia’s Sartorial Situation, Part 4

October 17, 2010

Welcome to the latest edition of Elaelia’s Sartorial Situation! Since the last time you saw her, there have been some major changes afoot. Not only is Elaelia now Level 70 (That’s right! Who woulda thunk it?!), she also has dual spec, which means that she gets DOUBLE the amount of clothing. Wheeeeee!

After the jump, check out Elaelia’s many clothing/weapon changes and peep the new Healing threads!
Level 61

Level 64

Level 66

Level 67

Woohoo skanky pants!

Level 67: Patch Day

I’m not gonna lie…I really like how well my skanky pants and chest piece match…

Level 68

Level 70!!!!

Level 70–Heals

Look at Elaelia’s turtleneck…and skirt…and skull. Isn’t it such a refreshingly feminine change? 😉

Oh, how I love silly things.

Silly lightsaber-y sword.

Silly masquerade hat. Actually, I really enjoy the masquerade hat.

VERY silly turban. And no, it’s not silly because it’s a turban. It’s silly because of the feather smack dab in the middle of the turban.

Oooo what is the name of her turtleneck chestpiece? I didn’t know you could find one with a high collar like that at level 70, I thought they were all 74+

No, no, no – you want the REAL in-game light saber, go do the quest chain in Eastern Plaguelands to get this baby:

    From the comment section there:
Reward from a three part series.

    1. The Archivist ( [live strat]
    2. The Truth Comes Crashing Down ( [live strat]*
    3. Above and Beyond ( [undead strat]

    * Note: part one does not directly lead to part two, you must turn in part one for the head to drop off Balnazzar, thus beginning part two.

Another fun (but long) quest chain you might want to go back and do is the one that starts in Un’Goro and you ultimately get Linken’s Boomerang ( and Sword ( – a humorous shoutout to Link in Zelda.

This is the starting quest which has you go to Un’Goro to Feralas, to Wintergrasp, etc. It’s a long chain, but was so worth it back in the day when pallies had NO ranged attack – I remember getting an HK on a mage that sheeped me and then ran off, but I still had him targeted and had my boomerang equiped and WHAM! Killed him, lol…

I was actually doing the quest chain for Linken’s Boomerang (ready for this: I’ve never played Zelda. When I say that I didn’t grow up with video games, I mean it.) and Nick insisted I drop it when I leveled to…some level…so that we could move onto a different zone. I’ll make sure to go back and do it though! 🙂
